Ñepi Behña:
The organization and its work

Ñepi Behña (“Women with Dignity” in the indigenous Otomi/Ñähñu language) hosts workshops and training programs based on values that promote community-based organizing and the creation of solutions for the Buen Vivir of indigenous communities, using a popular education methodology and gender justice lens. Working in the Ñähñu territory of the Valle de Mezquital north of Mexico City, women are learning how to become entrepreneurs while caring for their ancestral practices and the land. Read more about Ñepi Behña on their partner page.
