Live-tweeting from the Regional Agroecology Learning Exchange in Chiapas

Through the Agroecology Collaborative, Thousand Currents participated in and supported a Regional Agroecology Learning Exchange in Chiapas, Mexico, hosted and organized by Thousand Currents partner DESMI from September 24 to 26, 2013.

The Learning Exchange will focus on the intersections between agroecological practices, food sovereignty and the solidarity economy model. Around 90 participants from community-based organizations, social movements, advocacy-oriented groups and funders will be participating. Participants are coming from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Panama, Cuba, Canada, US and Brazil. This event will provide a space for presentations, exchanges and group work for building sustainable food system models.
