The Next Generation of Indigenous Leadership
Red Ñuqanchik Maronijei Noshaninka is a network of Indigenous youth from Quechua, Ashaninkas, and Matziguenkas communities of the Ayacucho and Valle de los Ríos Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro region (VRAEM) in Peru, that build up, strengthen, and promote Indigenous youth organizations to strengthen agricultural practices, alternative entrepreneurship skills, and active participation in decision-making spaces to effect change in public policies implemented by the government.
Founded in 2003, Red Ñuqanchik is driven by the need to change the unfavorable situations that affect youth as Indigenous Peoples.
