Born and raised in Brazil, Maha has a degree in Civil Engineering, but her professional career has always focused on managing social projects. She has worked together with Indigenous groups, quilombolas, urban groups, and social movements in South America for the past few years as a program manager at Fundo Casa Socioambiental. Her career also includes experience in administrative and financial management projects, strategic planning, and an ongoing commitment to inclusive and feminist, social and environmental justice. Currently based in Chile, Maha enjoys her free time walking and bike riding, exploring the countryside, and tasting Latin cuisines with her partner.
