Jessie Spector (she/her/hers) is the Director of Donor Organizing at Thousand Currents. Having worked with individual donors and funders for a decade, she is committed to organizing people with financial privilege to be in solidarity and partnership with frontline communities. Previously, Jessie was the Executive Director of Resource Generation, whose mission is to organize wealthy people aged 18-35 into becoming transformative leaders toward a world with the equitable distribution of land, wealth, and power. She believes deeply in the goodness of all people, and the vital role that people with privilege can play in supporting a more just and peaceful world. She serves on the board of the Maine Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association. When not organizing, Jessie can be found on long bike rides, baking bread, and eating ice cream.
