Originally from Vietnam, Kim’s experiences as an immigrant and her early challenges have shaped her dedication and passion to serve communities through the nonprofit sector. Before joining Thousand Currents, she spent over 13 years at American Financial Solutions where she served as the Treasurer. She was also the Finance Manager at the Progressive Animal Welfare Society and the Associate Director of Finance at Nia Tero Foundation. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Central Washington University. Outside of work, Kim enjoys traveling with her husband and three children. She also loves hiking, camping, and being outdoors where she can immerse in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
